THUDDING OF THE UNKNOWN By Nolan Moon The Black Stallion Pounding at the stable door demanding its deliverance To submerge me in the darkness of pain to be at liberty to waste my dreams The thudding of an evil spirit--loose galloping with the force of fear guided to my tender soul Shredding my days into nights Destroying the memory of love, and the taste of the sweet. Thud--Thud--Thud Drowning out life's light Subduing all time as it passes Thud--Thud--Thud Running with my name upon its vile breath lairing nostrils of an evil unknown Riding on the winds of cruelty Only to pass by with laughter in it's eyes denying me once more of the solution racing towards death.
