INSIDE THE POET By Nolan Moon I show myself, I know myself. My words are I I give unto thee. My whispers share The moonlights glare my soul decides The words I write. A peek inside, Secrets I tell. You'll see what I hide, my heaven, and my hell. My fears numerous, just as are yours. Then I become us, And our minds soar. I write, you read, We've planted a seed. You scan the page, you feel my rage. We share a fantasy, Together just you and me. Reading you want, me, Writing I set us free. Shady skies are blue again, lights shinning brighter. Together we win, soul is lighter. Through me You can be. Through you, I am two. I show myself, I know myself, My words are I, I give to thee.
